CV axles wear out over time and occasionally break when off-road in high-intensity situations. The 100 series Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 CV axles are commonly replaced due to old age or torn boots, however they can now be upgraded to RCV Performance axles for the ultimate off-road solution for full-time 4WD and part-time 4WD setups.

The full-float hub design of the 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 means that the CV axles are proprietary and are not easily exchanged with alternative solutions.

*NOTE: The inboard (diff-side) retainer rings (included in assembly) on OEM cv axles are non-reusable and must be replaced when re-installing a CV axle.
