Some 100 series Land Cruiser variants did not come with the cabin air filters but to add them is extremely straight forward. Three parts and a few minutes of work will leave your cabin refreshed with clean, filtered air.
Kit includes:
- No. 1 cooler cover: 88891-60040
- No. 2 cooler cover (access panel): 88891-60060
- OEM Cabin filters (2x): 88568-60010 (DENSO 4531001)
- OEM evaporator cover seal: 88578-47040

The ingenious clip allowed me to make a strategic cut in the trim below the glovebox so that the evaporator core could be removed directly without disassembling the entire dash (a 6-hour job for a shop tech). The repair was quick and effective and saved me over $1000 in labor. Thanks!
Exactly what was needed to add the cabin air filter.
Some of the screws holding in the air filter cover were a little harder to get to than expected but I think it’s worth the upgrade if you have a couple hours of spare time on the weekend. Also a hand written thank you note and free sticker were a nice touch, I will definitely be buying more parts in the future.
