Adding a voltage booster is a necessary upgrade for anyone running an AGM battery in their vehicle. Cruiser Patch uses this GM diode to increase alternator voltage output at idle and under load from 13V to 14.6-15V.
See photos for proper orientation of diode into 1998-2002 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 and 2003-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 (will fit other vehicles with AGM battery). Improper diode orientation will trigger the battery light- in this case, simply reverse the diode.

*NOTE: some light filing/edging is required to fit the diode into a mini fuse slot
Fitment details:
- 100 Series Toyota Land Cruiser & Lexus LX470: replaces “ALT-S” 7.5A fuse (98-02 located on positive terminal fusible link, 03-07 located in engine bay fuse box)
- 80 Series Toyota Land Cruiser & Lexus LX450: replaces “CHARGE” 7.5A fuse (located in engine bay fuse box)

I initially had no idea that AGM batteries required a different type of charge cycle. That’s exactly why ppl struggle with AGM batteries. Installing this fuse was the easiest thing I’ve done on my LX470. Now I’m constantly running 14.7V to the battery.
