HKB Electronics 7.5A MK3 AGM Fused ATO/ATC Size Battery Voltage Boost Regulator with PTC

Adding a voltage booster is a necessary upgrade for anyone running an AGM battery in their vehicle. Cruiser Patch recommends using this fused diode to increase alternator voltage output at idle and under load from 13.2V-14.2V to 14.4-14.6V.

"The PTC device incorporated in the MK3 offers far better circuit protection than both the OEM fuse it replaces and all other types of voltage boosters. Should an electrical fault develop in the vehicles wiring other types of booster diodes will be destroyed and need to be replaced, this is not the case with the MK3 unit, in the event of an electrical fault occurring, the PTC device in the MK3 detects the excessive current flow and turns off preventing damage to the booster unit, the vehicles wiring, and alternator. Once the electrical fault has been removed the PTC device automatically resets and the booster unit will resume normal operation."

Replaces 90982-09005 "ALT-S" 7.5A fuse in Toyota and Lexus vehicles equipped with ATO/ATC size fuses

*NOTE: plug & play for vehicles equipped with "ALT-S" fuse located in engine bay fuse box. For vehicles without "ALT-S" fuse, installation of a fuse holder into the sense wire (alternator circuit) may be necessary.

Improper diode orientation will trigger the battery light- in this case, simply reverse the diode.
